Banana Split Pie

Vanilla ice cream is spooned into ready-made chocolate cookie pie crust and frozen to set. Fudge sauce spread evenly over vanilla ice cream and banana slices, chocolate chip ice cream, Dulce de Leche ice cream are layered over banana. Whipped cream spread evenly over the top and walnuts are sprinkled as garnish.

Ingredients -
1-1/4 cups Light Vanilla Ice Cream, softened
9 inch Chocolate Cookie Pie Crust
1/2 cup Fudge Sauce
2 Bananas, diced
1-1/2 cups Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, softened
2-1/2 cups Light Dulce de Leche Ice Cream
1-1/2 cups Frozen Whipped Topping, thawed

Garnish:
Walnuts
 
Preparation:

1. Evenly spoon the vanilla ice cream into the pie crust, and evenly spread.

2. Put the pie in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the ice cream is firm.

3. Place the fudge sauce in a pastry bag with a round tip.

4. Pipe the sauce evenly over the vanilla ice cream.

5. Place the diced bananas over the top.

6. Put the pie back in the freezer for 30 minutes or until firm.

7. Top the bananas with the chocolate chip ice cream, spreading evenly.

8. Return to the freezer to firm.

9. Top the chocolate chip ice cream with the Dulce de Leche ice cream.

10. Spoon dollops of whipped cream on the outer edges of the pie.

11. Freeze until firm.

12. Sprinkle with walnuts and serve.

You can soften ice cream by placing it on the lowest setting your microwave offers and heating 20 seconds at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
