Peach Ice Cream

Ice cream maker recipe prepared from eggs, white sugar, chopped fresh peaches, heavy cream, half-and-half cream, vanilla extract and salt.

Ingredients -
6 Large Eggs, beaten
3-1/2 cups White Sugar
10 Fresh Peaches, pitted and chopped
4 cups Heavy Cream
2 cups Half-and-Half Cream
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
3/4 teaspoon Salt
 
Preparation:

1. Mix together the eggs and sugar in large bowl until smooth.

2. Puree the peaches in a food processor and stir 5 cups of puree into the egg mixture.

3. Stir in the cream, half-and-half, vanilla and salt and mix well.

4. Pour the mixture into the freezer canister of ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

Heavy Cream

Heavy cream can be found with the other dairy products and is usually packaged in a small cardboard carton. Heavy cream is also called heavy whipping cream and has a milk fat content between 36 and 40 percent.

Storing Ice Cream

Keep freshly made ice cream in sealed, plastic containers. Homemade ice cream will store well for months. Ice cream with eggs should be eaten within a few days of being churned and frozen.
